Great Gifts for a Work-at-Home Mom
Shopping for Christmas and birthday presents can be tricky sometimes, so I have a list of GREAT gifts for a work-at-home mom!
Do you want to know what is the hardest about shopping for WAHMs? They are at their computer all of the time working … and when they remember something they need they just order it – ha! I can’t tell you how many times I order something and my husband then looks at me and shakes his head … because I ruined yet another birthday or Christmas present 😅. Sorry honey!!
Anyway, without further ‘ado – here are some great gifts for a work-at-home mom that you can get to wow her!
Work Free Weekend at an AirBnB
If you want to treat your WAHM to the ultimate gift, give her the reward of getting away for a bit. Find a fun local AirBnB and book a few nights. Get her a snack box and a gift card to her favorite take-out and keep the children while she gives her brain a break!
Be warned though, this gift comes with an extreme clause … only do this if you are okay with her coming up with new ideas. We all know that a weekend without interruptions and work will mean that she will come back with ideas for how to improve EVERYTHING and probably a few new business ideas 🤦🏼♀️.
Work At Home Moms Favorite Coffee Cup
This is a pick-your-poison type of gift because I have two ideas for you! You can either get something spill-proof or something that keeps her coffee warm forever – both are great options for a work-at-home mom.
The Contigo Cup
I have been using these travel cups for over a decade and they are amazing. In fact, my dad ironically gifted us with these cups when he got a brand new truck … of course no other cup was allowed in the truck and we all know this was more for him than for us 😅. But that should tell you how great these cups are! I used to shake it over my keyboard at school just to watch everyone gasp 🙈.
The Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug
I haven’t owned one of these, but it has been on my list for a few years and I’m still ogling it! The biggest issue I run into as a work at home mom is the fact that 1. I can never find my coffee, and 2. It’s always cold when I do find it. This mug would at least solve one of those issues! You can set your perfect temperature form your phone and then your coffee never gets cold. I think this pretty well sells itself … ha!
A New Headset
I personally love the aftershockz headset because I can both hear my children playing or asking questions, but I can also answer the phone with the click of a button. There are several versions, one has a mic that comes down in front of your face, while the other just has a mic built into the hear piece. My husband has one, I have the other – both work great!
I know a lot of people really like Apple AirPods, so that could also be a great gift if your WAHM is looking for something unique!
Luxurious Spa Kit
We already know why a WAHM needs this gift! So here are the links to a few that made me drool just a bit from Amazon. Easy to buy, ships fast, you can still get them by Christmas, and she gets a relaxing night. You’re welcome!
Coffee Subscription
Full transparency, I have not used this company – but I looked through a list of coffee subscriptions and Atlas Coffee Club won me over! They curate the world’s best coffee, it’s roasted fresh and delivered to you, and they feature coffee from all over the world! They also have a tea club as well, so if your WAHM is more into tea instead of coffee – there’s something for everyone!
Wine Subscription
I’ve been drooling over Dry Farm Wines for a few years, and while I still haven’t made the dive into these gorgeous wines – I know if I got these for Christmas I’d be one happy WAHM! They have red, white, and sparkling wines, all of which are natural wines and low-sugar wines.
Beeswax Candles
I’ve been eyeballing beeswax candles for a while, mainly because they are so sustainable and natural. Beeswax also has this perfectly delicious scent that is warm and homey. Considering I spend a good majority of my time at home … it can be fun to have ways to make the house feel cozy, especially going into winter! You can find beeswax candles on Etsy or you can Google for different businesses that sell online. I don’t currently have a recommendation – but they are still a fantastic suggestion.
Revel Dip Powder Kit
Call it practicality, but as much as I love having my nails done, I can’t bear to take the time to get them done. As a busy work-at-home mom, calculate how much time it takes to pack everyone’s snacks, get everyone buckled into their car seats, drive to the babysitters, drop them off, drive to the salon, sit for an hour for someone to do my nails, drive back and pick everyone up, and then bring everyone back and try to somehow continue with the day basically makes me cringe …
If someone wanted to start a “drive to you” salon or they were open after 7pm (bedtime 😅) I could maybe justify it … but all the same – I love doing my own nails!
I started using the Revel Dip Powder Kit four years ago and it’s SO EASY. If you need a great gift for a work at home mom, check out any of the kits on Revel’s website! Long lasting nails, easy to do at home, and no trips to the salon … I’m just saying, it’s a huge win in my book! And a glorious way to enjoy those dark winter evenings and unwind!
If you use my Revel Rewards link you will get 10% off of your first purchase and earn 200 points if you spend over $1 (which, duh – that’s not hard 😅)
Cheese Subscription
This is totally just something that I would love – ha! Every evening I enjoy sitting down with a few pieces of nice cheese (that I normally get at Aldi) and catching up on a show, working on a project, and just unwinding. Cheese is just the absolute surefire way to my heart. This may not be a great gift for your work-at-home mom – but man would it be great for me!
Murray’s Cheese has a monthly club where you can get cheeses straight to your door every single month. I’m just saying … a box of brie and gouda delivered to me every month would just make my life complete … LOL.
Sit/Stand Desk
I had been drooling over a sit-stand desk for a while when my husband surprised me with one! This is totally a business expense … so work this how you will. My husband is consistently trying to make my birthday and Christmas presents into business expenses, ha! All that to say, if you are looking for a great gift for a work-at-home mom – a sit-stand desk is a MUST! Here are a few that caught my eye, as well as one that I own and love!
Weekly Home Services
If you aren’t sure what to get your WAHM … a weekly cleaning or organizing service would be a LIFESAVER!
They always say you can have it all – but you can’t DO it all. I’m just one woman – and I’m outnumbered with four children, a house to keep up with, multiple businesses, and a farm … I’m just saying – a weekly housekeeper would be amazing.
If you don’t want to commit to a weekly housekeeper you could also hire someone to come a few times in the month of January to help either organize the home or someone to watch the children so SHE can organize without having it all undone!
The Best Learning Gifts for a Work-At-Home Mom
Masterclass
My husband and I are avid learners, so when we invested in Masterclass it became a bit of an addiction, haha.
If you aren’t sure what would be great gifts for a work-at-home mom, and she enjoys learning new things and studying in-depth topics, this may be the perfect gift for her! There are topics ranging from cooking to business, health, fitness, music, and more. The possibilities are ENDLESS. One year of Masterclass could be the perfect gift for your work-at-home mom!
Audible
If your WAHM is an avid reader, an Audible subscription could be the perfect gift for her! You can select a few different types of subscriptions and you get credits every month that she can spend on her favorite titles. In addition, there are lots of classics that can be enjoyed without needing to use an Audible credit as well!
Toups and Co
My final suggestion is any of the skincare or makeup from Toups & Co. This is another company that has been on my radar for a while. As a WAHM I always end up feeling so guilty about purchasing expensive “self-care” products for myself. But getting those items or gift cards to those places provides the freedom to just buy the things! And that is the best of gifts for a work-at-home mom.
Ready to Start Shopping?
When I told my husband I was writing this topic he just stared at me and said “gees, why didn’t you write this last month and send it to me??” 🤣. Sorry, sweetie … lol.
I feel like women are always so much easier to buy for than men … but sometimes they aren’t. So if you are needing some suggestions for memorable gifts to get your work-at-home moms, you wouldn’t go wrong with these items!
